Good Morning

This is me saying I'm back, I'm a different sick, I hate working outside in the rain, Thanksgiving was good, I went to see the Nutcracker (and I loved it. Beautiful.), I'm going in late to work because I can (or no one's told me yet that I can't.), I wish I hadn't had to come back (could that segment make any less sense? Probably.).
Hi. I like Thanksgiving. Lots of good food, good company, good food... There was this beautiful 20 pound turkey, lots of mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes (never tried them before either, my parents never made them.), nice fresh homemade rolls, and a bunch of stuff I didn't eat (stuffing, gravy, cranberry something, fruit salad, salad salad...)
And then there was dessert. The place we ate dinner there was pumpkin pie, and some wonderful sweet potatoe pie. Then we drove to another grandparent's house, and it was one of the cousins' birthday there, so in addition to apple pie, and lots of pumpkin pies, there was this wonderful (Homemade, oh yes...) chocolate cake. And there were a bunch of cookies, and some pumpkin bread or something that was all good... And we spent the night there, and helped clean up... And there was a bottle of some kind of wine that was bout 1/3 still full, so we had to clean that up too.
I think the one thing I love most about Thanksgiving, if I were to only pick one, it's got to be the left-overs. We also went shopping the day after, but not assanine early, like the freako-non-humanoid-doorbusters. Those "people" scare me. We stayed in bed and meandered out about 11.
And Friday night we went to the opening night of the Pacific Northwest Theater's Nutcracker. I'd never been to a ballet before, and I absolutely loved it. It was pretty long, it had an intermission, but I didn't even notice the length. The whole performance keeps your attention, and you're struggling to see everything there is to see. I'd love to see it a couple more times, but since it is "up there," and I am "down here," it won't be happening.

Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed your Thanksgiving (if you celebrated). I'll now go get ready for work. And I'm going to be an hour late. And I will enjoy it.
What I won't enjoy is all this being-sick-ness. It's a beautiful cold/cough that seems to have settled into my throat. Once again, if I find out who I got this from... Something about a spork.

YAY! I'm your first comment! I love it when that happens. Although it always makes me feel like I should say something really cool. The pressure is too much.

Um...uh....I hope you feel better?

That's lame. Totally lame. I suck. I've ruined your first comment. Dammit.

You can't say spork enough... it just never gets old.

Shanshu-That's sounding like a movie quote/reference, but I can't think of what one...
But it was a wonderful first comment.

Nick- I know! That has got to be the singularly most awesome word ever.
