Not too bad for a monday:
Today was my last day of a shittay detail I've been stuck with for a week (including my weekend... My Superbowl weekend)
I washed my beautiful TJ.
I'm about to have clean sheets! There's nothing better in the world than clean sheets.
I'm watching "Still Standing." This is my new favorite show.
My buddy in Akransas just called me! She's back stateside and gettin divorced, and wants to par-tay! I hope she comes out to Cali, I miss that girl.
I'm going swimming at 4:30 in the morning with my usual swimming buddy SwimBoy. Yeah, that's gonna suck a little bit.
I got the results of my MRI back and spoke with my doctor. I've decided he's as much of a fucking idiot as all the rest of my doctors have been. Seriously. After all these tests, this guy tells me that if I rest my knees for a month, they'll be alright. Um... guy, I've been doing that shit since October. I'm still not seeing results. And then when I ask you what I can take for the fucking pain, and you tell me rest and heat packs... You're officially blacklisted bitch!
I have an interview on Wednesday!!! But I'm not gonna jinx it and tell you where. Just wish me luck, k?
Ok, I'm gonna go grab my pretty-smelling sheets and think about going to bed. Just think about.
My question for all of you is: What is the weirdest (maybe not wierd, just most unusual?) place you've ever got your freak on?
Your answer gets mine.

Ohh ohh! I have one:
On the train from Rome to Venice. It was one of those open compartment cars like in Harry Potter movies. And somebody started to come in, but them promptly shut the door when they realized what was going on inside. Needless to say, it was exciting.
I don't know if that counts as a strange place...but it sure is cool.
when i get home tonight i will post you a couple links on rehabing knees and suprise suprise there is not much about the knees but the hips where all the action takes place
YEAH DOCTORS ARE LAME SOMETIMES. i had a friend who complained of back pain for a month. her doctor kept increasing her pain med dosage. a month later she goes to a chiropractor who sends her to get a mri, she finds out she has a herniated disk, she had surgery to remove fatty tissues that built up as a result of her not dealing with the problem... just covering it up with meds....
Freak on???? hmmm... have to get back to you on that.
good luck on the job interview!
I love clean sheets. There's nothing better.
Doctors suck. I went to one for some stomach issues I was having awhile back and the guy gave me a prescription for anti-depressants, because he said what was happening to me was physically impossible and it was all in my head. Yeah, two months later I had to have emergency surgery. Who's the bitch now???
Let's see..weirdest place? How about driving down the freeway at 75? That was interesting, especially when that big rig drove by....
or in my parents driveway behind MM's jeep (that was like a month ago..lol)

Well, actually, he was driving. I was on top. The trucker guy got an eye full and honked a bunch of times, which almost threw off my stride, but I focussed and got the job done.
How about the hood of my car in my driveway at about 10 at night...i live on a busy street. :P
Hey Holly....you stole my 2nd one! I did the same thing before. The whole driving down the highway at night thing, with my gf on top.
The only part that was scary was that I had HER steer while I put my foot on the gas. I was reclined and couldn't see where I was going. So SHE was driving and I was peddling, so to speak.
It was dangerous and stupid and fun all at once.
:)
how did the interview go? perhaps you are working at you new job right this very moment, or not. maybe you are nursing a hangover and feeling bad? who knows? hope all is well.
shanshu,
He did the pedals and the wheel. Looking back? Not my brightest moment, but it worked...
Kay,
What's up with the interview?
